From first click to meeting your agent

Here is exactly what happens after you tell us about your property — and what doesn't.

  1. Tell us about your property

    Address, rough timeframe, and anything that matters to you in an agent. Takes about two minutes.

  2. We call to understand your needs

    A short call so the shortlist fits your situation — not a generic list.

  3. We research your local market

    We analyse recent sales of comparable properties and rank the agents who actually sell in your area on verified results.

  4. You meet them when you’re ready

    We send you one or two recommendations. With your go-ahead we introduce you. No obligation at any point.

What we look at when we rank agents

Every recommendation starts with the data. For your property type and location we look at recent comparable sales and identify the agents who are actually transacting there — not the ones with the biggest billboard. We then rank those agents on:

  • Sales volume in your area — proof they know the street, the buyers and the price points.
  • Days on market — how quickly their listings sell compared with the local average.
  • Price achieved — sale price against expectation, where the data supports it.
  • Consistency — a track record across market cycles, not one lucky quarter.
  • Fit — what you told us on the call: timeframe, property type, method of sale, the kind of person you want to work with.

We typically recommend one or two agents, and we tell you why. If your circumstances are unusual — a deceased estate, a subdivision, a lifestyle block — say so on the call and the shortlist will reflect it.

What we don't do

  • We don't accept payment from agents to be recommended. Ever.
  • We don't hand your details to a list of agents who then chase you. One or two, with your go-ahead.
  • We don't get involved in your listing agreement, pricing or negotiation. That is between you and your agent.
  • We don't charge you anything, at any stage.

How long it takes

Most sellers have their recommendations within two working days of our call. If you are in a hurry, call us on 0800 111 449 and say so.

After you've chosen

Once you list with an agent we recommended, we set up a complimentary social media campaign for your property, targeted at local buyers, using your agent's listing material. More about the free marketing.
